I got these for my toddler because previously, she had had the silicone plates and, because of a sensory/ behavioral issue, with her constant chewing, I opted for these to replace them. They are perfectly sized and sturdy to boot! Now she gets mad because she can't eat the metal.
These plates have very strong suction! They don’t budge when my baby tries to throw her plate. The stainless steel and silicone parts are easy to clean. I feel better about feeding my baby off of a stainless steel plate versus a plastic one, however it does mean that I can’t microwave anything right on the plate. I wish the plate was a little bit deeper, they are fairly thin/shallow. Overall these are decent plates and will be getting a lot of use now that we are starting solids!
Strong suction, sometimes my toddler will pull the plate away from the suction, but not often. Definitely like the concept with the stainless plates!
